Early FPS style game if the old memory's correct.
(I could be wrong, my mind been kinda screwed since someone told me about Gunstar heroes appearing on the GBA).

yes indeed it is an Fps, your a sort of future swat team and you have to clear out this space station one floor at a time, and as far an the megadrive/genesis goes this game really pushes it to the limits, its got awsome sound effects (for genesis) and very detailed too, right down to that annoying elevator music
Oh yeah and it also featured co-op via link cable which was pretty cool for its time

If we're counting 16bit to be oldies, I was playing Donkey Kong Country 2 the other day. The best in the series in my opinion. Much harder then I remember it, though playing with a keyboard rather then a snes controller probably had an impact.
The Green Knight, SimeSublime the Puffinesque, liker of chips and hunter of gnomes.

My friend has SNES controllers, but he had to get the SNES-USB input off of ebay, which lacking a credit card, is beyond me.

The original nes square controller (along with the cc mastersystem one) was one of the most uncomfortable things ever, designed for the secret race of robots that nintendo aimed to replace humanity with probably.
Although I've pimped this before, and stubbornly refuse to shut up about this game, I've finally tracked down a translation for Warsong2 (langrisser 2), now there's no excuse for it not to be played.
