Morte's seen it all. I'd say the only thing he'd be in awe of is his own ability to insult people.

Okay, bumping this thread somewhat, but only because I got lords of the realm III, played it, uninstalled it, returned it, and promptly downloaded Lords of the realm II instead. Classic game, despite the battle graphics, and the cow obsession. Still has some of the best sound bites of all time;

'Slaughter these villagers m'lord?'

Ah, happy times.

I have that game also, always found it as 'a waste one day playing the hell out of it then uninstall for a month' rinse, repete sort of game. Love it, always has a permenent seat on top of my computer incase I have the time to micro manage every serf in an entire kingdom.

Yeah, I'm kinda burnt out with it by now, but it's a sign of a great game when you can go back to it after all those years and still enjoy it.

On a random point, I got e-mailed a JP copy of Guerilla war for mame this morning; a game where you play as Fidel Castro\Che fighting off the invaders. Changed for the US release of course, but it might interest JM Hoffman if he ever heads down this way.

It's like the makers of this game abducted you and probed your brain to make, in your particular taste and interest, the perfect game. alien.gif
