I didn't have a NES either. I notice that you mention Chrono Trigger(and even use Robo as your avatar), but don't mention Chrono Cross. Is that because it's too new, or you aren't lucky enough to have played it? And also the DK trilogy. Are you talking about the Donkey Kong Country trillogy on the SNES? They were works of art, but personally I think the second one was the best.

Both.

Is there any other? I liked the 3rd one the best, actually.

I think the third one over-capitalized on the item hunting a bit too much, and came off, I'm not sure, cheaper. It's a bit hard to put my finger on it. Plus, the second was the most difficult, in my opinion.

Oh I agree, the second was more challenging. However, I find the third more-multifacited. It was not just a side-scroller (with great innovations to it, I think), but also had elements of a first-person shooter and an RPG.

True. Although I loved the waterfall levels, and the Lost World levels of the third one, but the second game generally had a better level design.

That is true, although, for some reason, I LOVE the level design of the first one...Man, what I would do to get my hands on the entire series.(I only have DKC 3)

Asteroids (on amiga - feckin'brilliant, especially 2-player)

The Legend of Zelda Series (all except the 'Oracle' pair, and i've got 'Minish Cap', but not played it yet, so i can't include it, yet)

Metroid Series (Samus rocks, she is THE hardest heroine, she'd kill Lara any day!)

Super Mario Bros 3, Super Mario World, Super Mario 64 (they're the cream of the crop of Mazza games)

Super Smash Brothers/+Melee (I love playin these games with my mates who are good video gamers - YOUNG LINK RULES!)

Alex Kidd (These remind me of my youth, only reason)

er... there are probably TONNES more, i'm just SO sleepy sleep.gif , thats it for now...

Metroid series is good. Just got Metroid Prime 2 and tis a blast. I love Smash Bros, regardless of the fact that I'm utter pants.

It's sad to say that I missed a lot of the real old games. The oldest console I had a Sega Master System, but that wasn't until the Mega Drive had ground it into the dust. And rather then a PC, we had an Amiga 2000. Sure, it was better then a PC at the time, but a lot of DOS games are beyond my knowlege.

an evil undead creature! he is the ruler of the undead/pink balloons!
i like being Kirby too, he does rock hard!
My characters i whoop ass with;
Zelda/Sheik (Sheik is undoubtably the best fighter in the game)
Falco (So fast with really cooler moves)
Young Link (should jus'b called 'Link' as he is the ORIGINAL)
Luigi (funniest character in the game, his running 'A' attack is SO funny!)
Roy (shouldn't his name b 'Elwood'? due to the Fire Emblem games, yes)
Kirby (pure and utter EVIL, who else can u do a sacrificial KO with?)
Ness (he has a bloody baseball bat as a smash attack, how can u resist?)
and Ice CLimbers (SO cute, and as long as Nana is still alive, I'm unstoppable)

They're my faves!
