True. We'd be plagued with rusty joints though, and have to walk around with cans of WD40.

Huh. Ever since the ads went up, the white bit in the middle of the page (wherein Yahtzee's funny is contained) has appeared stretched, for no apparent reason. The bits of text only take up the middle part. Maybe it's Firefox.

EDIT: Well, bugger me. It appears the same in Internet Explorer. Anyone else seeing this?

Oh, like it fucking matters. You don't walk out of the 1812 Overture because the concert hall's slightly wider than you remember.
As I walked through the valley of the shadow of death, I realised that it could do with a lick of paint.

I played the 1812 overture a few years ago, at the Southampton Guildhall... Bloody cramped if I recall, you had every orchestra in Southampton squeezed on the floor. Sounded good though. Tchaikovsky definatly knew his business.

I always like those sorta 'Last Night of the Proms' concerts. Brings out the best in everyone. Plus I love Elgar's music, especially Land of Hope and Glory. That should really be our National Anthem. Kicks ass compared to saving our queen.

Yes, I suppose so. But, as you may have already guessed, I have nothing better to do than complain about page width inconvieniences on somewhat dull messageboards. You're better off ignoring me.

It seems to be the same size as before the ads, and I use Firefox as well. Could be your screen size, mine's full screen 1024*768.

Chefelf, if your forums are dull, surely you are not to blame. It's your forum members that suck! Burn them!

Yay @ your Humanitarian Aid banner, btw. Rather that than those bloody smiley things.

Now, now, Rhubarb, this forum is jam packed with loving people. It's all love in these here parts. All love.

Google, apparently, analyzes a page and issues a targeted ad based on the words it finds. If it can't classify the content it simply donates an ad to one of many different non-profit groups, charities and other public services. You have to admire Google.

Love is a device invented by bank managers to make us overdrawn.

...
