Brick stood stone still as he watch Rhubarb retreat into the sunset. His eyes narrowed in concentration, or perhaps in pain. He was, in fact, staring right into the sun.

"She'll be back," he said in his deep, heroic voice to no one in particular. "She will be back. And I'll be ready."

Brick then did a dramatic turn and tripped on his flowing black trenchcoat. He fell onto a rock, bashed his head, and proceded to bleed all over the flora and fauna as he groped his way to the nearest first aid station.

"Must . . . remember. Next . . . time . . . wear a . . . sweatshirt."
