Think of it this way – at least it's the polite, complimentary type of creepy...

I swear that there's a contradiction in terms somewhere here...

hmmm... creepy, and who am I supposed to be stalking? Yahtzee?
You really need to leave your computer, and attempt a social encounter if possible with other humans, if possible of course. I mean other humans might find you garrish, but then someone might be overcome with pitty and compassion and it could be the beginning of a new adventure for you, then maybe you could write your own little novel "The Social adventures of Rubharb", then maybe progress a level to "How to Win Freinds and Influence People the Rubharb Way".
However I find that expressing interest in the profound writings of one Mr Croshaw, and conveying admiration of his work is hard to confuse with the term "Stalking", perhaps if certain synaptic pathways were broken and reonnected in the wrong order one could make said association... perhaps...
Either way the author of said titles has a sense of wit and cynicism much akin to mine own and I find his work very entertaining. If Rubharb is to be believed I may well have unintentionally stumbled upon something new, "Stalking by Forum".
indeed.

Plus, she's mean to everyone. It's not out of character. Plus, I thought it was more friendly jokes then serious comments, but that may just be the way I read it. Hard to tell without voice inflection and the like.

I was not being mean, I was lighthearted and in jest. And look, he was amused. So it all works out okay.
Couple of points though -
Garish (or whatever your preference) is not an offensive word, or even relevant in this context, and is actually sort of confusing me. Try again. Rude, psychotic and/or charming are all acceptable alternatives.
You've never heard of this phenomenon before? It's hardly new. It comes in many shapes and many forms, but I won't bore you with details, as I'm sure you have many exciting social adventures to partake in.
Amber-Nicole, you should listen to Jane. She knows the ropes. Anyway - making fun of comments and personalities is acceptable in my new world order. Just not spelling/grammer. Plenty of non-native English speakers use the internet too. Now get back to the salt mines, peon! *cracks whip*
