I say Johnny Depp and Tim Burton got along nicely in 'Edward Scissorhands'. I'm sure they could pull off a fairly decent remake. I'd watch it, certainly.

If Johnny Depp did a movie about a compulsive masturbater who spent his life eating paste and molesting kittens, I'd still go see it.

I see what you're saying. Actually, I think the kitten/masturbation angle was pretty much the original script of Sleepless in Seatle. It got changed a bit in re-drafts, but you can see the similarities.
