LIVE ACTION THUNDERBIRDS???

i think making the thunder birds movie ,not having puppets was a good idea....

Bill Paxton was an even better idea...

and having them all get captured early in the movie so that a bunch of kids have to save them is FUCKING LAME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i'm glad there are movies out there like spy kids, big fat lier, cody banks, and so on for the kiddies, but honestly why take a cool idea and fuck it up like that....

if it were just a movie about the thunderbirds... every one would go see it... but it's about kids, so only kids will enjoy it, and anyone there to see it for nostalgic reasons will be sorley dissapointed that there childhood hereos have been lucased to death....

the people who grew up on it are all adults now, but would love to see it...
and what they'll get is this ages 3-9 crap!!!

up there with the guns in ET being turned into walkie talikies.... (and of course the whole SW:SE/PT shinigans)...

what's up with that.... the movies we liked and loved as kids had adults as heros primarily, and we never had a problem with it. there were enough films with kids... the goonies, cloak and dagger, etc.
but this crap is getting out of hand...

Kiddie films are annoying, you are right. And you made a very good point there that we should probably make in the Star Wars forum more often - ie. that when we were kids, we still liked watching adult heroes. I never wanted heroes to be my own age when I was a kid. I just wanted to grow up faster so I could be their age.

EXACTLY
quit ruining my childhood tv shows.
Thirteen and a half.
Twelve jurors,
one judge,
and half a chance.
