If you would have told me 8 years ago Harrison Ford would be appearing on VH1's "When Star Wars Ruled teh World", I would have said you were crazy. He always seemed to be alittle embarassed of the movies. I guess giving up $90 mill in a divorce and having your last few films tank, will have your agent force you into things you'd rather not do.

Really? I should check that out. Do you know when it's on?

And yes, there is precious little indication from Mr. Ford that Star Wars ever even existed. I get the same impression.

I've read an interview with him, in a magazine in the early 80s where he talks mostly about Bladerunner, but he talked about working on star wars like it he had a good time... I've also seen a profile on his carrer including recent interviews, where he talkes quite openly about it... I don't think he thinks too highly of lucas except in the areas where he might deserve it...

I think he's just done enough work to not be tied down by it...
plus he and his character were sort of out of place...
like Ash in Evil Dead 3, a mach hero in a nerdy environment... + he was never type cast as a result...
