You know, I leave this joint for, like, a year or so, and y'all go and change the locks on me. Metaphorically speaking.

At any rate, PIG IN THE CITY!

I've been living in Manhattan for a couple of weeks now, and I'd like to share some thoughts.

1. Don't eat the yellow snow. This is less Manhattan-specific than it is just plain good advice.

2. Subways shouldn't flood. I understand that they're essentially big tunnel's underground. I understand that if you stick a big tunnel underground, water is going to get in. I don't care though. I have an active life-style. I got places to go and things to do, and flooding subways just muck that all up. Unless you're a Morlock who's into aquatic sports. Then I guess it rocks.

3. Dude, is that dog pee?

4. There's something insanely beautiful about chairs randomly strewn about the sidewalks.

5. Denise Richards is really tiny in person. Seriously, I could, like, put her in my pocket and walk around with her. And some day, I just might.

6. The NYPD is pretty awesome if you give them half a chance.

7. Ted Koppel knows fifteen ways to kill a man with his bare hands.

8. In a city of millions of people, it's surprisingly easy to be lonely.

9. Far and away, the sexiest philosopher in recent days is Wittgenstein.

10. There's never a bad time for Diet Dr. Pepper.

11. Breakfast is over-rated.

That's about it, I suppose.

Okay, seriously, I didn't realize that Le Elf d'Chef was commenting on NYC already. I just followed the link from LNE, and . . . well, whatever. It's not like it would've changed anything anyway.

Yepper. Good times, good times.

Have you done anything remarkable in your time here? Parks and museums and such?

Nothing particularly remarkable. I work by Central Park so Jen and I went there after work today.

I did a lot of the touristy things (sorta) when I started coming here regularly two years ago.

Besides, I'm pretty lame and boring so I tend to stay inside and use the computer in lieu of any sort of sightseeing.

That's better than me. I basically see the inside of my apartment, the inside of the subway, and the inside of school.

I'm a man on the move! Woo!

Funny thing: I did more fun stuff in the city when I lived in New Jersey; but I think that's just 'cause I had more time in undergrad.

That's pretty much me... just replace school with work.

And how are you earning your living now-a-days? I think I knew at one point, but have forgotten.

Why unfortunately? Is Chefry not satisfying anymore? Or do you just not like the Chefry you're up to at the moment?

Chefry has never been satisfactory. However, I'm not really qualified to do anything else, so if I want to continute to make money I sorta have to do it.
