Ewan Mcgregor is Sean Connery's choice for Bond!:
[Hollywood News]: New York, Nov 18 : Sean Connery, the man who immortalized the role of James Bond, has reportedly revealed that Ewan Mcgregor is the perfect replacement for Pierce Brosnan, as the new 007.
"He's very good," the New York Daily News quoted Connery as saying.
"He should do it if he wants to do it," he went on. "But it's a bit of a poison chalice. It is slightly more difficult than people realize because it has to look very comfortable and very easy and very cool," the star added. (ANI)

Good choice. Best name of all the actors mentioned. Crowe would seem out of place, though I like the Robbie Williams mention because he looks like a young Sean Connery. Anything is better than the one time mentioned Hugh Grant. Thankfully that was a joke
McGregor posseses everything it take to bring Bond back on track, and not even starring in George Lucas stinkers can change that

To be honest, I don't think it'll make much difference who plays Bond. The way I see it, the series lost its way after the Cold War ended - Bond movies used to have a certain style to them, but now they're just typical Hollywood action flicks full of non-stop explosions and car chases, indistinguishable from any others. I hate to say this - especially since I used to adore the Bond films - but I really think it's time to let 007 bow out gracefully.

The sandpeople had women and children. We know this because Anakin killed them how could he tell? The children might be smaller but I never saw a sandperson with breasts. Did they hike their skirts and show him some leg or something?

Also, I can see the point of wanting to kidnap a human and use her as a slave, but they didn't. They tied her to a flimsy easel for a month. It's assumed they had to feed and give her water. What for? Was she purely ornamental? I can understand them wanting the droids, you can sell those for a lot of money, but a chick who's only skills are finding non-existand mushrooms and getting randomly pregnant, you're not going to get much.

I thought they already picked the next 007. Of course I don't remember who so I'm probably wrong.

Do you think the fact that they're both Scottish may have something to do with it?

We've had all kinds of europeans play 007. What we need now is an Italian James Bond, and I for one nominate Sylvester Stalone. Just imagine . . .
"Yo Blowfeld! Blow this!"
"Heey, moneypenny." Whatsay we get togethas?"
"Yeah, the names Bond. Jimmy Bond. 'Sup?"

Maybe they should cast former TV "Highlander" star Adrian Paul as Bond. He's part Italian (the other part is Irish I believe), he's about 6-feet tall, fairly muscular, and he bears an uncanny resemblance to a younger Sean Connery.
