Oh come on. I can understand being in a hurry, but a FEW typing mistakes? I think you've already gone over your allowed limit. I can't read anything you write and take it seriously. When people type that way, I just form a mental image of a guy with drool on the corner of his mouth, who randomly says "derrr" every few minutes for no reason at all. You can't even be cool, like Jon Gutner. No, you insult long time members, and you use the word "fuck" alot, to try to sound tough. Fuck is a dandy word and all, but not in the annoying way you use it to try to get on people's nerves. You could learn alot from Mr. Jon Gutner. I don't know how he does it. So many grammar mistakes, yet so loveable! wub.gif

...

You people kind of suck.

I mean, if you don't like the dude, fine, it's no business of mine. Hey, I sometimes hate people too! We have something in common. But jeez, at least find something more concrete than his fucking grammer to base such mob-mentality victimisation on, y'know? It's like being back at school and watching people pick on the kid who turned up wearing an anorak. You have any idea what utter snobs you're coming across as? Yes, it's entirely possible that he is, in fact, a jerk, for reasons unrelated to grammer. But most of his rudeness so far is just him responding to your much more intelligently worded and therefore 'better' insults. Give the guy a chance.

I'm a fucking moderator and you have to do what I say.

Edit: The above no longer applies to Amber-Nicole, who is just being a rude bitch now. Pack it in.

Believe it or not, I know some relatively intelligent people that type like that all the time. Some people were just brought up typing shorthand like that, and many don't pay much attention to spelling/grammer mistakes.

I'm not trying to sound snobby, I just know when I do and do not like someone. Grammar usage has absolutely nothing to do with it. It even makes me cringe when my best friend writes anything like that, let alone a complete stranger. You have to give me credit on the fact that usually I try to stay quiet about it, though.

...By the way, what is an anorak, and why are people made fun of for wearing them? huh.gif
Check out my crappy drawings!

I'll still never be as rude and as bitchy as you, Rhubarb. rolleyes.gif

I believe an anorak is a type of heavy jacket thing. I think. unsure.gif

Yes honey. But, see, the difference is that I bitch at pretty much anyone arbitrarily, people who are all well-established here, and can either dish it back out, or have the support of the rest of the forum. I'm not specifically targetting a newbie. This guy is probably someone I'd not have really cared about that much normally, but I'm obliged to defend him here because no one else is. The fact that I'M THE RESPONSIBLE ONE should perhaps be telling you something.

Jane - Okay, fine, fair enough. And an anorak is one of those big puffy jackets you wear in cold weather. I think in England they're sort of a staple, but over here in Aus, if you wore one to school, you were fair game. Especially if it was lurid pink like mine. I learned this the hard way.

On reflection I think Dragonspawn is taking the piss.

Fuck is not a dandy word, it's an ugly overused word which everyone says now because they think ....oh never mind. I'm just looking forward to the day it stops being 'cool'.

Another name for an anorak is parka. Like a quilted skiing jacket... 20 years ago when they were navy blue, maroon or khaki.

No'one is as bitchy as Rhubarb...she practises.
And she has power.

I dunno, swearing is as evil and/or ugly as you make it. Like, 'fuck' is kind of a part of my everyday conversation. I don't say it to sound cool, I just say it cos it's a word that I use. A friend while I'd obviously be against reducing a woman to her genetalia, when a friend called me a cunt earlier, I just thought it was funny, cos I know he didn't mean it to be offensive. If you're waiting for swearing to drop out of common usage, you'll be waiting a long time.

Incidentally, Princess, don't take this the wrong way, but is your real name Brendan?

I don't know if I was meant to understand that question Rhub, but, no my name is not Brendan or even Brenda.

You're right, I will be waiting till doomesday for swearing to stop. I just wish you'd all get some new words. l also know these 2 words that I find so offensive date back centuries, but they weren't acceptable in general conversation until the past 10 years. When my (almost) phobia developed I was very young, and only rough, angry and scary people said them.

"Newbie" is such a shitty term.

Agreed. By all logic I can call about 7/8 of all the users on this forum "newbie". But I don't. Because that is fucking ridiculous. Incidentally, welcome aboard Kirby. I'm sure you'll come to be a welcome addition to our maniacal little family.

Hey, I said "fuck". Damn I'm cool.

So, first Lachie and now Dragonspawn. Seems like we've insulted another user to the point that they gave up and left. I can just tell you how good I feel about myself now</sarcasm>

I agree that people could have been a little more pleasant, but I get the feeling that Dragonspawn hasn't just given up yet. I hope not, anyway. You said it well elsewhere when you noted the unusual amount of personal attacks going on around here, Sime.

There's very little I can actually say now without pissing off the mod's lady, or lying through my teeth, so I'll shut up.

Its still probably not nice to bitch at the n00b, god knows I was probably the same once. Not here, obviously. laugh.gif
