To be honest, I've only read a few of the mangas, and seen The Castle of Cagliostro. In the mangas, Fujiko was just kind of like, espionage and boobs on legs, who alternately tricked Lupin/Jigan into trusting her, and was tricked by Lupin/Jigan into trusting them. She rocked in Cagliostro though. Stole the fucking counterfeit plates right out from under everyone's noses, while Lupin was sodding about with the Princess. Awesome. Even cooler than Zenigata.

True. Zenigata does rule though, in his own special way. He was at his best in Cagliastro, he seriously kicks ass when he's allowed to.

And Jigen... I'm amazed that hat stays on!

Of course, the anime series and films are kinda different in characterisation to the original Monkey Punch manga, which Ive just started reading. Its much more darker, and the guys aren't quite so obviously depicted...

By the way, I think we're forgetting good ol' Goemon!

So anyway. All I've seen is Cagliostro and uh... 'Secret of Mo'? Or something? Odd, odd film. Fujiko is PURE bimbo. She's pretty and pathetic and gets kidnapped/rescued every five damn minutes and Lupin fucks her at the end and it's kind of... stupid. I dunno. It's consistant I guess, I just watched it after seeing Cagliostro and was accostomed to seeing her kicking arse. And Goeman wasn't there I think. There was lots of weird imagery at the end with ishots of army dudes pressing buttons to deploy missiles, juxtaposed with Lupin pressing Fuji's very lushly rendered nipple.

Secret of Mamo or something, yeah... I havn't heard good things.

Apparently Lupin III is very sporadic when it comes to films... they're responsible the best films ever made, and for the worst too.

And yup, Lovecraft rocks.
