Earlier this evening, I had to adjust my USB 2.0 card (I hadn't screwed it in tightly and it was wiggling), and when I restarted my computer, the screen was showing little more than a cluster of multi-coloured rectangles. I don't know what I did, but it is now working fine. I think it might be my video card (which is in the PCI slot right above my USB 2.0 card, so it might've been jiggled), but I'd like a second opinion. Any ideas?

I would recommend removing both cards, then reinserting both (making sure they're firmly in the PCI slot) then screw them in tightly.

Blow out any dirt from the slots.. and maybe wipe down the card edge that goes in them too.. dirt is not your friend. (Since you'll have the cards out anyway...)
