maybe he should have said "i don't remember anything"

Maybe it's Barend. Because he's so evil, he might be just having us all on for a laugh. And I bet you, Barend is not his real name either, unlike my username...

so.. er... JYAMG, when are you visiting Sydney next...

You're right! Damn... I'm sorry, Barend. I just got a little excited because I thought maybe at long last, I'd found the guy we're looking for.

Technically the droid might be part of the Old Republic navy ordinance or something. So technically he didn't "own" the droid.

For those who are curious........

.no.... I do not suspect civilian two is George Lucas dry.gif

All that massive hatred toward the Prequel movies, Return of the Jedi Temple of Doom would be hard to fake..

........least of all for someone with George Lucas writing talent!!!!!11 laugh.gif

Tho, I think civilian two suspects me of being GL unsure.gif

{All in good fun} laugh.gif

Oh, Mike, we are not going into small details like that are we? Next thing GL will be putting up a Special Editions, where Obi-Wan goes on like „Jedi shall have no possession whatsoever... he shall not own a droid, not a spaceship... only his lightsabre.” When you see a guy or a girl in a spaceship with a droid, you assume it’s his or her, don’t you? Or perhaps you ARE GL, since you are defending him. If it is so, wait till the rest of the guys find out biggrin.gif You may be in for a surprise that he is not much held in esteem here biggrin.gif

I suggest the following options

-frying yourself in a power coupling

-falling into a nest of Gundarks (or whatever)

-getting a blood transfusion from someone with a negative midichlorain count

-overdose of death sticks

- getting yourself sold as a slave on Tatooine, and then going far enough so the device in your head blows up

I think these idiotic ideas from Prequels are quite appropriate and will do very well for you, GEORGE…

If you are not GEORGE, however, I may allow you commit seppuku with a lightsabre smile.gif .

No, that was a joke. Please stay with us Mike.

That was my favorite. laugh.gif

I'm looking for a blank vhs tape and I come across TPM.
maybe from a fox broadcast? should I tape over it?

Do I wish to I watch it?

(at this point I've gone far enough for my head to explode.)

I don't know, Despondent. Jariten seems to think the world of it... but I've just been looking at some screencaps from the film for my current 'project' and even these still images annoy the living hell out of me.

well, i wouldnt go that far. I do like it a lot, yes. and i`ll defend the bits that are worth defending (theres a lot of them) and attack the bits that are worth attacking. which reminds me, I really should press on with my appraisal of AotC, which (I shouldnt have to remind you) I liked rather a lot.

Whew!!

Just got talked off the ledge!!!

I have been reassured by friends and family that I am not George Lucas.

-What a relief-

I chose a jump of my apartment window as the method of suicide because I thought killing myself by watching Attack of the Clones was too painful a death!!! laugh.gif

Back to the critique

Attack of the Clones made me do something that I never thought a Star Wars movies would..........

.........it made want to walk out of the theatre!!!!!!!!!!!

Now that is saying a lot...........because I can stomach even the worse movie.

I stayed and watched Madonna's "Swept Away".

There are only two good scenes in Attack of the Clones

1. The chase of the Queen's assassins through the streets of Coruscant,

-the scene had a nice film noir quality to it that I thought was unique to Star Wars, when I saw that sequence I though Attack of the Clones was going to a stylish Blade Runner type adventure delving into a realistic decent into Anakins darkside.

Unfortunately the movie never turned in that direction

2. Anakin escoting Amidala back to Naboo.

Nice scene in that it gave the "potential" for some good dialogue between Amidala and Anakin. And it almost did............until Anakin and Amidala basically dissed Artoo in public!!!!!!!!!!!!

Artoo Detoo is more useful and intelligent than anyone in the entire Prequel trilogy

-Does better acting too!!!!!!!!

3. The Battle on Caminio between Jango Fett and Obi- Wan. -A well done, visually appealing battle that for a few minutes gave me feelings of the OT films.

That's it.

The rest of ATOC is pure unmitigated..............DRIVEL!!!!!!!!!!!!!! yell.gif
