Is there a general consensus on the best type of kitten? I like dark-furred kittens, young enough to be cute but old enough not to be a teeming litter of shut-eyed cat larvae.

Nowt wrong with cat larve, as long as they're not pissing everywhere. I know, I've had my cat since then, and its hell-cute to have a cat literally sitting on your hand...

Must we have a cat-picture battle? Or should I say, can we have a cat-picture battle?

You've already seen my cat's glowering visage in the Photo Album. His inherent evil means that he can, and likely will, destroy all in his most likely trouble-ridden life.
