Guys, I've seen some talk about 'gundarks' and 'nerfs' that pop up occasionally, but there are a couple of things I want to know... what exactly is a gundark? Also, what's a nerf? And why is 'Nerf Herder' considered an insult? I've seen it used in a few Star Wars games before, and I'm kinda curious about this.

So, any answers?

No idea, but I'm guessing a gundark is a large, fairly powerful creature in order for Han Solo's remark that Chewbacca "looks like he wants to pull the arms off a gundark" (upon seeing Luke alive and well in ESB) to make sense and a Nerf is probably a small, disgusting creature if to be a "Nerf Herder" is an insult (or maybe Princess Leia was just stumped at the moment). Maybe the Nerf toys were coming out then and it was just a throw away line.

I'd like a qui-gon jinn please with an obi-wan to go.

I believe it goes "...pull the ears off a Gundark" so it must be pretty big, or at least have Dumbo ears. Nerfherding is probably a dirty, low-income job since it provokes such condescending remarks. Maybe nerfs are the raw material source of the dreaded "Death Stick"?

They're bound to be in the Star Wars RPG or in an Expanded Universe product.

All you need to know about gundarks. Can't google anything about nerfs, which is kinda good because too much info about these things on the net can't be good

Hunh? Those are eyes.

I always imagined them to be more kangarooish.

But, then Marvel comics had a completely different look for Jabba before ROTJ, so I wouldn't count this as the "official" look of the Gundark.

The second picture doesn't show on my computer. But I have to admit, that picture of Yoda fighting really sucks!
