I need some help: I have two-128 RAM chips in my CPU. I have two more empty slots. Do I need to fill those slots with 128 RAM chips, or can I stick in ONE- 256 chip instead?

What is a good Video Card? I'm thinking about buying a GeForce Mx 440 or a ATI Radeon 9200

This maybe a stupid question- I can't remember- can you upgrade the clock speed (ghz) without buying a new motherboard?

You have to make sure that all four slots are for the same type of RAM. Sometimes they'll be for two different types of RAM and you can only use one type OR the other. I would look up the model number of your motherboard to see what the specs are as far as RAM goes.

I love ATI Radeon cards. What is your price range? Check out Newegg.com's deals on ATI Radeon cards.

Yes, you can upgrade the processor. Again, you should check out the specs for your motherboard and see A ) what type of processor you need, B ) what the clockspeed of the one you have is and C ) what the maximum clockspeed processor your motherboard will take.

Thanks a million chef~ The GeForce seem popular, they are sold out at 3 different stores i've been to so far.

I think I have dynamic ram. I remember a long time ago in my programming class that my prof told us that Static ram is actually better.

if you know who made you motherboard, or your computer, head on over to crucial.com and use their memory selector...
If you buy from them and use the selector... if it don't work, you can get it replaced for free.. or a free refund type thing really..

In anycase, they should be able to tell ya what sort of ram you can put in there.
