QUOTE (SimeSublime @ Aug 2 2004, 09:32 AM)
Twas in the woods I got it,
So I sat me down to find it,
But I failed to apprehend it,
So I took it home with me.

But I failed to apprehend it,
So I took it home with me.
A thorn?

Here's an old one for you:
The man who made it didn't want it,
The man who wanted it didn't use it,
The man who used it didn't know it.
The man who made it didn't want it,
The man who wanted it didn't use it,
The man who used it didn't know it.

It's whiter then white, blacker then black, lighter then air and heavier then everything, the rich have need of it, and the poor have it in endless supply.

Ooh, good call. I was going to guess nothing too... The only one I can think of is from a fantasy novel which I greatly enjoyed. And since noone else has posted a riddle, here goes:
"What is the only riddle to come out of Hed?" Extra points if you can name both the riddle, and the answer to said riddle. Actually, there's two riddles from Hed. Either one will suffice. Someone else can post a "real" riddle too if they'd like.
