Hello.

Over the years since the L&E forum has moved here, we have heard several arguments (although they are all the same, they do indeed count as several) regarding the forum's "autonomous individuality", or lack thereof. Some people (although there is only one, he does indeed count as some) claim the forum doesn't exist anymore.

Today, I present to you startling new evidence that he is right. Somewhat.

There is no L&E forum. There never was.

There never was a LanceandEskimo. Dot Com, that is.

L&E is merely a sham. A ruse. The entity formerly knows as L&E was only in place to disguise something much more important, and much more sinister.

Let me present you with a brief chronology of the situation.

• Sometime in February: L&E announces its hiatus.
• July 28, 2004: Polymorph Want A Cracker? Releases its "poke a bear with a stick" feature.

Coincidence? No.

As you can see, while L&E was growing, building and producing articles, the bear was sleeping, and gathering strength for the day when it finally releases all its rage upon all who might pester it.

I hope now you understand what is truly afoot.
