Hey all:
You have to check out this new website! It's hilarious! Here's the link:
I Hate the New Star Wars
The guy makes all sorts of great and funny points about the new films. Great stuff. He's trying to start a revolution to get Lucas to remake the movies. More power to him!

Good stuff. Tends to repeat himself, but repetition is necessary when it comes to us making our point.
Even if one could possibly get Lucas to remake them, do you honestly think he would not be bitter and not put his best effort into it (although, one think the same of what he's produced now. )?
So, in the effect, he ought to hand it off to a conglomerate of us fans to remake it how we see fit. You know, wouldn't that be an incredible and gutsy experiment if Lucas created a "make your own Star Wars contest?" Now, that would be wild!! Imagine if a fan did wrote and directed, and wouldn't it be hilarious if it was stupendously better than the prequels?
Oh, that would make my day--that would be the ultimate. Of course, it would have to be better.... which, really, should not be that hard.

It's quite amusing. Makes me wonder how he's going to keep it up, though...

The sandpeople had women and children. We know this because Anakin killed them how could he tell? The children might be smaller but I never saw a sandperson with breasts. Did they hike their skirts and show him some leg or something?

Also, I can see the point of wanting to kidnap a human and use her as a slave, but they didn't. They tied her to a flimsy easel for a month. It's assumed they had to feed and give her water. What for? Was she purely ornamental? I can understand them wanting the droids, you can sell those for a lot of money, but a chick who's only skills are finding non-existand mushrooms and getting randomly pregnant, you're not going to get much.

I appreciate the optimism, but in the profound words of Marge Simpson:
"It's not going to happen."
Guess all I can hope for is another treatment by those LEGO guys.

Wow, that is weird. He emailed me a couple of weeks ago. I should email him back to see what's up.

I'm going to shut lucas down, if i ever see him.
i thought i saw him in the cinema, sitting infront of me. i kept trying to peer around this guy to see if it was him. it wasn't.
good thing i double checked before punching him in the back of the neck and pouring my rum and coke over his head!
(i was actually going to do it... i'm not kidding).
