Kerry Climbs His Stupid Ass Out of Spaceship

John Kerry just the other day, did this:

Okay, it's not a news article, but I'd just like to point out that he climbed out of a spaceship dressed like some sort of space man!

I hope everyone is okay with another four years of Bush. Looks like we have no choice now. sad.gif

On the plus side, President Bush fell off his bike again.

A couple of things:

1.) This is the pic from the article Jen posted:

The caption reads: "President Bush rides his bike Monday at his Crawford, Texas, ranch."

THAT IS NOT PRESIDENT BUSH! WHAT DOES USA TODAY TAKE US FOR?

2.) The president falling off of his bike is the funniest thing ever. No matter how many times it happens, no matter which president it is, I will keep laughing every time I hear about it. smile.gif

But maybe Bush wanted to fall. Maybe he understands in a way few do that society is on the verge of a debate that could mold the future of transportation, much like the debate 100 years ago when cars first suggested that horses weren't the only way to travel.

And if the future veers toward little two-wheeled electric-powered personal transporters, where does that leave ExxonMobil and Halliburton and the rest of the oil industry President Bush adores? Probably in the same sad league as the old Pennsylvania coal-mining companies, with Houston as the next Wilkes-Barre.

I'm not even going to say anything about that article.

I hope that Kerry didn't just pull the ol' Dukakis-in-a-tank move.

Also, what kind of moron can't ride a bike? I rode a bike to work every friggin day through city streets for 2 years and didn't fall off it once. Then again, I don't have a $3,100 bike. Hail to the tard.

Since there's no article for that pic let me post this little non-sensical gem....

MIAMI - Police in the Florida Keys are mystified by a bizarre new pastime — young people dangling themselves from meat hooks on a popular sandbar.

advertisement

The Key West Citizen newspaper reported on Sunday that the Monroe County sheriff’s office and U.S. Coast Guard were called on July 12 to the sandbar off Whale Harbor in Islamorada where locals say wild behavior is becoming a tradition.

They found that five young people had erected a bamboo tripod and hung meat hooks from it. A young woman, her feet brushing the surface of the shallow water, dangled from the frame, hooks embedded firmly in her shoulders.

According to a Coast Guard video, she did not seem to mind the hooks.

Lt. Tom Brazil of the Coast Guard said a young man, who also had hooks embedded in his heavily pierced and tattooed skin, told him the group was “just enjoying the afternoon.”

There were no laws against sticking meat hooks into yourself and hanging from a tripod on a sandbar, Brazil added, according to the newspaper.

The Coast Guard passed the video on to federal justice authorities to decide if action ought to be taken.

A Coast Guard spokeswoman confirmed the report but could provide no further details. No one was available for comment at the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office.

I don't even know what to say about this... but I think I just found a new quotation.

I am speechless. Whenever I think people can't get any weirder, they always seem to find a new level.

Ah. Could be some sort of meditation challenge thing. See if you can ignore meat hooks in your skin and having to support your own weight via said meat hooks... It's still damned wierd though...

Yeah, I never fall off of my bike, but I know how to read, too. It gets funnier every time the news reports that Dubya fell off his bike again. Can we hit number three before November? I sure hope so! I suppose it's too much to ask for him to be riding along a piranna infested river or a vat of hydrochloric acid at the time he falls...

No, it's not too much to ask. And I think as registered voters, you have the right to demand that of your president. It's the golden rule of leadership afterall - give the people what they want. cool.gif
