I know we all have out pet peeves with SW, but I'm following the spoiler list religiously for prefessional reasons. I've got pics and I'm wondering if this is one forum in which to post them. I don't want LFL breathing down Chefelf's neck, but because other message boards are so afraid of a cease & desist letter from LFL I'm likely to get banned on their message boards.

So here's the question. Can I post pics from SW.com's Hyperspace so that we can discuss them?

If we followed LFL's rules, we essentially have no rights to post any pics. But for something that is already available to the public, their rule stifles any academic debate.

Here's are some specifics. From the new Hyperspace documentary, there's a small model of a new star destroyer. Sitting next to it is another model which looks like the star destroyer. I'm not sure if the little one is another version of the star destroyer or a fighter.

Can't you just hotlink to the images? That would probably be the best way to do it. If you have any legal questions/concerns them PM or email me and we can discuss it.

Yeah I'm also following them religiously, don't be ashamed lol. It does seem like it could be a very good movie. In no way would it make up for Episode I or many of the problems that Episode II had, but it would still be nice if the Star Wars franchise could at least go out on a high note. Basically here's what I'm hoping: less Padme, more character development, better, less embarassing, or less dialogue (I know it's a lot to hope for but maybe Lucas can watch his original trilogy again and remember what it felt like to write decent dialogue), more tie-ins with the original trilogy (but not in a corny way *prays to god chewbacca is represented respectfully*), and more butt-kicking on Obi-Wan's part, who has to prove that he is worthy enough to be one of the last 2 Jedi in existence. A lot to ask for, but hey, we can hope.

I often go to the starwars website. I look at all the new features they post up everyday. Like the toy checklist, and the book checklist.

Lucas is like a drug dealer. He feeds on people who enjoy wasting their time and money on over elaborate fictious worlds.

At this point the story of starwars is so lame. The writers of the books and movies don't even need to make quality work anymore. They know that whatever they toss out to the public will be excepted.

Originaly he was producing good quality crack cocaine, but now that he has you hooked it doesn't matter anymore.

I dont think anyone can name every alien species in the starwars world. Its quantity, but not quality.

I could make a book about a half wookie half whatever else, who lives on the planet of yavin 4 and runs a farm that specializes in bantha breeding.

His name is yorm. He loves eating red stew from naboo.

tell the computer to override the security system. I don't know how to fix the hyperlinks.

so will baby chewie have the crossbow, or a laser slingshot of some sort?

I'm still betting Lando is windu's long-lost son.

ps -I had a dream the other night. I was talking in a cab to the Jedi singer and saying "what's it like to be one of the few women in the star wars series?" and she was talking about her few LOTR female friends. I'll pause here.

Well it won't be "baby" Chewbacca. Remembner, Chewy is over 200 years old in Episode IV. He'll be the same old Chewbacca. Except possibly CGI which, even though it's preposterous, would not surprise me in the least.

QUOTE
Is it possible to have academic debates

I don't think it's possible to have debates on starwars for the simple reason we all agree on how terrible the recent movies are.

We need to get some people in here to defend Lucas. Then the action will start baby!

I forgot to represent this site at the starwars forums. I was to busy debating like a mad man that it slipped my mind.........sorry unsure.gif

Ok, guys. Sorry it took so long to finally post the pictures.

The first pic is from the hyperspace documentary. GL is approving spacecraft. Near GL’s right hand are pics of the new Jedi/TIE fighter. To the right of those are two models. The big one (right) is obviously an early star destroyer. But what’s on the left? Is it a fighter, or a different version of the star destroyer?

Note: The first close up of the bottom of the pic. The second pic is a touched up version with increased focus.

Check out how everyone has their head bowed down, in subserviant manner. Like backstage with diana ross! These are the people HE is dependent on to carry this off!
