Well, after nine years, my little sticker-covered monitor has finally kicked the bucket. I bid it a fond farewell.

Once, eons ago when I went on ICQ as a religion at 9pm with a dial-up connection...

My monitor could not cool itself down, so the only way you could get it to stay turned on for more than an hour was by placing a fan behind it and fanning it that way.

I miss that monitor...

I need a new one now. The one I'm borrowing is a piece of shit, and doesn't display colours correctly. This makes it IMPOSSIBLE to do any sort of graphics-related work, aside from Human Prey strips. I needs a new monitor. I was going to go tomorrow and get one, but my mom was nice enough to cancel my plans for me.

Well, I got my new monitor. It's nice, for a used unit. It shall certainly do the trick. Plus I have one of those keen consoles in it for adjusting the screen properties. No more little dial-knobs for me!
