Pirates versus ninjas? While both are equally cool, the ninjas would easily win. While the pirates were drunk off their asses with grog, the ninjas would silently board their ship, kill them all, and leave before you could say "Holy shit, a group of ninjas just killed all of those drunk pirates!"
In the Bush vs. Osama debate, Bush would have to ask his cabinet for advice and possibly have Dick step in for him, but as he turned his back, Osama would leap on him and bite him to death, because that's how terrorists work. They bite you to death when you're not looking at them.

But pirates only get drunk after a successful session of looting an pillaging, Therefore the pirates would get to fight the ninja on even terms. Only they wouldn't fight, because they'd be to busy killing Bush and Osama. But if Godzilla got involved.....

Personally, I have to wonder at the merits of a giant flying toilet in this developing arguement. It flies, and holds shit, which tops both Bush and Osama, really...
