I too am not a fan of the two rule. It just kinda came out of nowhere and with no justification. Why only two? For what reason? Why do the Sith want to destroy the Jedi with such horrible odds stacked against them? Seems like a poor idea.

And it pisses me off that supporters of it bring up the whole "Darth Bane started it..yadaydaya" bullshit. It's EU! Lucas doesn't give a shit about it, so it doesn't count! It's not presented in the movies properly or without any explanation, it doesn't have an explanation, so there it is crap.

The whole thing about the O-OT is we didn't have the damned EU for a very long time! It didn't need it, everything was wrapped up nicely, cohesive, continuous and proper. It didn't need it! And, we should have it, shouldn't need it for the damn PT's!

Sigh. I can complain and whine and cry and fume and spew, but it will never make a difference!

What are we to do?!? What recourse, what happiness do we have, can we gain? Is there a possibility in the future that someone or someones will be allowed to redo these movies? Is that a fool's hope.

Damn, I am sooo friggin' depressed!!! I can't take it anymore!

That's a very good point, Commoner. There are all kinds of things in the PT that make no sense at all unless you're familiar with the EU (and quite a bit that doesn't make sense even then). A movie should not force you to read an entirely seperate book in order to understand the plot!

The sandpeople had women and children. We know this because Anakin killed them how could he tell? The children might be smaller but I never saw a sandperson with breasts. Did they hike their skirts and show him some leg or something?

Also, I can see the point of wanting to kidnap a human and use her as a slave, but they didn't. They tied her to a flimsy easel for a month. It's assumed they had to feed and give her water. What for? Was she purely ornamental? I can understand them wanting the droids, you can sell those for a lot of money, but a chick who's only skills are finding non-existand mushrooms and getting randomly pregnant, you're not going to get much.
