Where are you from? How old are you? Lame? Yes. Informative? Kinda.

If so, congrats on the bravery, but my, my there are less crude ways to do it!
Huh? What? How do you get that impression from eating a pie?

Ok, Jordan you thin-skinned *boy*.
You are a tall, handsome, young-looking, cute 22 year-old man...better?
By the way, what was it I said to upset you? I can't remember.
Bet you can.
Maybe you are one of those people that remember every nice and nasty thing anyone ever said about you....like grunge rock star etc.
That OK Jane?

It was not that long ago and my memory is pretty sharp.
ALl truth and honesty I don't care that much. At the time I did not say anything and figured I will when (if) you come up into chefs forum.

Just a side note. I work part time at a video store in down town Vancouver. Kelly Osbourne came in to the store and became a member. ALso rented some movies.
She was nice. I think she had a childrens dress on over her shirt.

It all started with the Working Visa. I asked them originally if I need one. "oh no no, just passport, we take care of rest". Sounds good?
They would've payed me (ya right) and given me an apartment (maybe). I phoned them up and gave them heck once I found out it was illegal. The conversation was tense. I would have come into the airport in Korea and looking like a dipshit told the customs dudes that I was there on work, cause they never told me about it being illegal. And when I could not show a visa I would have been on the next plane home.
After I talked with them on the phone and told them I'm not going, I got a phone call hours later that consited of a bunch of young Korean girls say:
"this jordan?"
"hi dis Korea"
"no english, u come?"
It was a group of laughing korean teens passing around a cell phone (i think) trying to get me to come over. Then some guy takes the phone and goes "ok no english bye now"
I was fucking mad. My uncle who worked in a Canadian embassy in Korea told me not to go. He gave me a short list of everything that could go wrong if they catch me or if they don't, the employer does not have to pay me since i'm there as a fraud.
I did some research and you need a degree of some sort. And those companies that hire you ( Hagwons) will only sign you for a minimum of a year.
After I get my degree, I'm going to Japan. Korea fucked me over for the second time (first girlfriend then some school).
I'm going to teach in japan for a while. I don't want to get into my field just yet. After teaching in Japan I might got to mexico or something with the money earned and smoke alot of pot.
Anyways, I was really upset because the anticipation of going was HUGE!
They said they would transfer my paychecks into my canadian account in vancouver. Actually, that was not their first strat. They wanted to pay me in CASH!!!!!! I said " I don't want to walse into the air port with 6.6 million wan in my back pocket.
Morons. GRRR.
It was to good to be true~

Anyway, I think going to Japan would probably be a better option. Sure, it's not as cool a place to live - but the working conditions and the pay are so much better. Korea is full of dodgy workplaces.
That said, it's a nice place to live and most of the people are good. It's just a small minority of money hungry pricks who ruin it for everyone. And if they weren't running hagwons, they'd be dodgy real-estate agents or second-hand car salesmen.

PS: Jane, I too have seen CANNIBAL: THE MUSICAL, so you gotta expect a little SOUTH PARK sense of humour.
