You are a twenty-something-year-old-woman, attempting to commute to a bus stop so you can ride home. You think you are being followed by a creepy old man. What do you do?

You walk calmly to an area with many people so that any bad intent can not be realized. Don't act panicked or suspicious.

Stay calm. Turn around. Face him. And raise your skirt, to send him a clear message.

Then, we his pants drop to the floor, run. For you see, it's far easier to run for a woman with her skirt raised up than for a man with his pants down. happy.gif

This happens to me fairly often since I live in a moderately large city. Just stay alert, and keep going. And like Slade said, go to a more populated area so he'll be less likely to pull something off (or out. blink.gif). lol.

It's always good to keep your hand on something you can use as a weapon, too - be it your cellphone (jab the antenna into an eye, etc) or your keys (jab them just about anywhere), or if you live somewhere that bad stuff actually is prone to happening, get a knife or one of those self-defense keychains.

I find it really hard to get into that kind of thinking, cause things like that... they almost don't happen over here. It's so peaceful and people are polite and kind to each other and react if you smile at them, it's almost making me worry. Then hearing that people in other countries don't go out without holstering a semi-automatic... it makes you think.

Most areas of where I am are fine, but when I've traveled to other places, yeah, things can be rough. It's sad, really.

Where exactly do you live, Gobbler? Just out of curiosity.

Stuttgart, South Germany. I don't deny the fact that there are some vile elements in this society, but I really don't know of any places here I'd have to be afraid of.

My turn:

It is pitch black here. You are likely to be eaten by a Grue.
