The Pathetic Postcard Contest

I know the Chefelf Night Life crew comes from a wide variety of places around the world, so I was wondering if anyone would be interested in helping me out with my Pathetic Postcard Contest!
Just look for postcards from your area that are really, really lame, boring, unimpressive, or in any other way, simply pathetic.
There are no prizes for this contest, but I'll photo update every time I get a new postcard.
Mail laura@lanceandeskimo.com for details.

With both Hull and my home town within arms reach, I can seriously ace this one. Expect one from Home within a few weeks, and one from Hull sometime after September.
When you lose your calm, you feed your anger.

Laura,
It may be worth it to take the RIPTA bus up to Woonsocket and take a look in city hall. There you will find what you are looking for. If you'd done this contest a year ago I would have been able to keep you in pathetic postcards for weeks!
Unfortunately there's way too much interesting stuff in NYC to find that many pathetic post cards. If I see anything I'll put it aside though.

I think it's safe to say that I live in one of the major holes of Western Canada. As the western side of Canada is the more obscure to begin with, it follows that any postcard from this area is pretty damn pathetic. Seriously. Some of the major tourist attractions include a giant perogy on a fork, as well as a giant coil of kolbasa and a giant easter egg. For some reason the area is fixated on giant Slavic foods. Not good.

The city I live in, Vancouver, was founded specifically for the purpose of creating beautiful postcards. Actually living here has its drawbacks, so mostly people lock themselves in a room with a thousand Vancouver postcards stapled to the wall.
I do live within striking distance of North Americas greatest cesspool, and I will gladly venture over the two bridges and a tunnel to retrieve a postcard from this festering bile-pit. I'm sure you've all heard of it. The knowledge of its horridness knows no boundaries, borders, or frontiers. It is the giant awful known as... say it with me... SURREY.
You will have a postcard soon.
Wait, what's your address?

Wait, what's your address?
That's why you have to email me, so I can give it to you.
I don't want to just post it willy-nilly on the web... but I WILL give it to anyone who asks.
