His voice sounds different in a less funny way...cue fan speculation.

Rather liked the game, but after the 2nd play through besides the Light World/Dark World side quests that only offer unique weapons, there's little to do besides spending 10 hours killing a 1-hit-your-dead enemy to get a crafting item that has a .2% drop rate, you learn to quit by then.

Bah, another obscure shit nobody really cares about. I was sort of hoping he'd review Saboteur.

Sounds the same to me. It was so strange in the Assassin's Creed episode that I almost thought he had hired a soundalike.

Maybe he's suffering from heatstroke or something.

Hmmm...in his Extra Punctuation for this: http://www.escapistm...on-Demons-Souls

he defends his criticism be sort of saying that he's a games reviewer, not a gamer, and judges things differently...which seems rather odd.

It does? When people say "gamer" nowadays, I associate that with way too much spare time and usually a few missing synapses too. Now the spare time, that's a given for anything related to games, but I guess Mr. Y is still big on the intellectual thingy, so I'd say that he has a point.
