So yahtz was able to get an import of the game and is gonna review it this wednessday, according to the end of the last zp. I think he will verbally rape this one. Now I enjoyed the game immensely, although admittedly it was my first SH game. Here are a few of the things I think he will harp on. Oh, and if you don't want spoilers I suggest you stop reading this thread, beginning with the period at the end of this sentence.

1) It takes some things from the movie adaptation, such as the cultist's garb and pyramid head's appearance. Yahtz has bashed the movie before; therefore he will bash the game.
2) The actual inclusion of ph is basically worthless. He is never fought and is just in there because the developers knew he was a fan fav.
3) The puzzles were ridiculously easy.
4) The plot was predictable to an extent.
5) There were enough shots of josh running away from alex to make any sensible person just leave the kid behind. He obviously didn't wanna be saved.

These things didn't really bother me because I had no expectations for the game and no standard to compare it to. Hardcore fans have bashed the game. Just wondering if any of you guys had any thoughts on this.

Hey everybody. Although this is my first post I have been lurking for a while. This forum is one of the more entertaining ones on the internet, but lately it's just gotten out of hand. I realize most of you guys have used the magic ignore button so you may have missed some of the craziness, but I feel like everything that has recently happened with several new members has been orchestrated by one person. It's just too much. There's just too many coincidences that seem to be leading up to something, some end goal. The man behind the curtain may be yahtz, or maybe not. Who knows. I just wanna know if all you regulars are thinking the same thing I am.

Either way I hope all you guys don't abandon this forum, 'cause whatever its faults this is a good community.
