I, for one, am not jealous of those who enjoy the prequels. I gather plenty of entertainment for myself through nitpicking said prequels.

As long as you don't like the PT.

To be fair, a lot of people here do that to the idiotic Jar Jar loving prequel fans who think a movie's cool because it has Yoda jumping around with a lightsaber.

I think its obvious that I meant I love both the OT and the PT.
And it says a lot about you to refer to people as idiotic just because they like certain movies. Get a grip man.

i like the prequels too, the second more than the first. so youre not alone. BUT, nobody else does. which means you'll be up against it if you decide to stick around. theres some good discussion though from time to time, if you'd like to join in.

You can't come in here and tell us that we are jealous of you, and in short say we only talk about SW as a means to complain. That's like coming into someones house and saying "this place sucks" and then leaving.
The Vast majority of us enjoyed the OT. Some hated ROTJ, but for the most part well all liked ANH and ESB. We are all in agreement (save yourself and jariten) that the PT's are trash. Infact, our hate for the PT is what brought many of us together.

It just seems rather odd to me that they would dedicate part of this forum to SW yet only 2 people that I can see(myself included) like the movies.
the original intention for this board did seem to be a place for praise of the OT and critisicm of the PT. and to many people, the OT is all thats left of Star Wars now. but even with the OT fans, theres still a lot of disagreements, particuarly with RotJ. it seems that someone has to care a lot about star wars to open a board specifically to discuss how they think its being destroyed.

JM - would you be excited by "Star Wars - the Yellow Pages" if it had the logo and scroll fading into starscape? Surely, I am a fan, but the logo and scroll is not enough for me.
Sorry, but there was nothing, absolutely nothing that I enjoyed about TPM. I went to see AOTC just for the old time's sake, out of duty, really, but I know some people here who did not enjoy TPM to the extend that they never watched AOTC.
