Haven't got around to cracking the game yet (if a game's publisher is such a cuntface then I won't buy the game on principle), but seeing this video has put me off a bit. Sounds exactly like the sequel to Deus Ex, which was dumbed down so that the 12-year-old X-Box-flogging retards could play it. Didn't know about STALKER being a good fps-rpg game though (only heard the name of it once or twice), gonna check into it later.

Loved the use of "Octopuss's Garden"! Well, the Beatles isn't heard enough these days... Anyway, very funny and well put. Good or evil isn't really a choice though is it? It's a way of mking you play a game twice before selling it instead of once really. Some games have brilliant replay value (or in some cases just don't seem to end) but good or evil is so over used!

I thought it was interesting that Yahtzee came down on the unable-to-die mechanic when he used it in 6DaS. Maybe that's what turned him off to it?

Heh, tres amusant smile.gif

Though I was hoping Angular Ringo would sneak into the ending animation

Now to wait til the Escapist server recovers so I can watch it again -- it seems the Escapist site gets utterly destroyed each time a ZP video goes up...

Their servers are slow as molasses, so I'll have to see it again when it isn't literally a slideshow and skipping the video ahead every 18 seconds, but the review itself was good.

Basically, every gripe I had with the game was mentioned. Especially the Vita-Chambers. What the hell were they thinking? For a scary game to be scary, there has to be a negative consequence of death. You know, like death.

And I haven't gotten the evil ending yet, but from my understanding of what everybody else has said it's not much better than the good one.

And I laughed at the "Cybernetic modules...sorry, ADAM."

Well...if you were being picky, you could go through alot of Yahtzee's rants about various games and apply bits of them to his.

In any case, I'm off to watch his latest animated rant...as soon as I work out how S Club 7 got back to 1999...been watching the video clip of S Club Party...what?

By the way, if the Escapist server is acting up, you can still watch the thing on youtube.

Escapist's back up.
As I walked through the valley of the shadow of death, I realised that it could do with a lick of paint.

Not where I live, it's been overcast today.

Or was that a deep, meaningful question?
