I sign peace terms with Oleg and instate him in a position lower than his previous one, yet still honourable, and the guards are drafted back into the service. The student heads, due to their cowardice, are fired from my staff.

Oleg refuses but agrees to a temporary ceasefire. Most of the police and paramilitaries that he has created support him while you have most of the army on your side.
<The student heads were never under your command; read my smegging posts carefully>

I offer Oleg the position of Chancellor of Parliament, all the while having my spies make offers of power to the student groups.
Oleg declines and the spies unable to convince the student leaders.

I offer Oleg the command of the military.
Oleg not only refuses but decides to launch a sneak attack on your lines during the night. Rebel forces have taken massive casualties but have managed to capture an important supply base. Meanwhile the student leaders see their chance and launch a series of terrorist attacks on government owned buildings.

ok, I want to play...lets see here.
name of country: Transton (archipelago island chain nation, total land area roughly equivalent to Texas..slightly smaller)
ethnicity: Pacific Islander
currency: Challasapporos
Authoritarian: 1..very liberal
Rightwing: 5 ,..right about middle
Closed Society: 1 very open society that promotes international trade, tourism, foreign exchange students, international olympic games, etc.
Controlled Economy: 1 (very open, business incentives for international trade: both imports and exports)
Paid Army: 5: a sort of mixed lot here..some hold deep pride and join the military, others pursue higher education and take advantage of the abundant opportunities in business.
War Hawks: 6, although usually regarded as a pacificist nation, the high-technologically advanced military is feared when called upon to strike at given threats.
Interventionism:3 usually dont engage in international warfare, unless called upon specifically to aid by allied nations.

I frame the students as bloodthirsty terrorists and arouse the people to join the fight against them, meanwhile sending out a crack squad to kill Oleg in the night as he sleeps.

Otal Nimrodi
Nation: The Imperial Republic of Horothesia
Ethnicity: Horothesians
Currency: Kingsheads
Size: 30 square kilometres
Population: 150,000
Army size: 25%
Event: Your country is plagued with high inflation, high unemployment and high corruption. Your royal adviser comes into your office and advises a solution. He suggests that you draft all unemployed peoples into the armed forces or start slave labour camps around resource rich areas.

Nation: Transton
Ethnicity: Pacific Islander
Currency: Challasapporos
Size: 30 square kilometres
Population: 150,000
Army size: 15%
Event: Because you have a very relaxed system of government; several senior politicians from the opposition party have decided to break away from your nation and start their own nation which would be strictly authoritarian. One of your advisers suggests that you rally the people to your support and create a militia to combat this threat of civil war.
The population had started to think that you committed the terrorist acts in order to justify harsh laws combating media freedom. The crack squad is killed before they entered the base and the morale in your armed forces has dropped tremendously. The Rebel forces have captured several high ranking officers during a commando strike.

Hmm, this sounds cool, if I can fit in, I'd like to play.
The Dominion of Masanoria
Ethnic group: bloodthirsty, xenophobic Jappos
Currency: New Yen
Authoritarian: 10 (heck yeah)
Rightwing: 1 (as socialist/conservative as can be)
Closed Society: 9 (not tolerant to foreigners at all)
Controlled Economy: 9 (imports as little as possible, in order to avoid getting the society corrupted by foreign trash)
Paid Army: 10 (basically this is where all the profits go, the country's foreign politics are quite lively)
War Hawks: 10 (finished building that warhead yet?)
Interventionism: 8 (gotta be watchful, never allowing anyone to slip up)

Country name: Triskelion
People: Triskel
Currency: Quatloos (right about on par with the American dollar, for ease)
(Yes, yes; it came from Star Trek; I'm a big geek)
Authoritarian: 3
Rightwing: Uh... I agree with points and policies from both sides, but I'm not a fence-sitter (as in, I'm not a moderate who doesn't have a strong opinion either way, just my collection of opinions and beliefs don't fall into either category). Does that make me a 5?
Closed Society: 4
Controlled Economy: 4
Paid Army: 8
War Hawks: 4
Interventionism: 4
As leader of Triskelion, my title is the Provider.
