CD:
Slayer - South of Heaven
Tom Waits - Bone Machine

LP:
Slint - Spiderland
Melt Banana - Speak Squeak Creak
Nation of Ulysess - 13-Point Program to Destroy America
Sam Prekop - s/t
Panda Bear - Young Prayer
of Montreal - Satanic Panic in the Attic (with bonus 2-song 7"!)

Yeah, Slint "Spiderland!" Good one. Nation of Ulysses are from my neck of the woods, but I don't own any of their material, shame shame on me. I'd like to explore Ian Svenonius' other material like The Makeup and The Scene Creamers when I get a chance. "The Spiv" as folks refer to him is kind of a celebrity in the Washington, DC area. I feel so behind the times, I'm not the hip indie rock kid I used to be.

Just purchased:

Gordon Lightfoot "Complete Greatest Hits"
Interpol "Antics"

Four new pieces of vinyl goodness:

The Knack - "Get The Knack"
Culture Club - "Kissing To Be Clever"
Missing Persons - "Rhyme & Reason"
The Mission - "Carved In Sand" (they were known as The Mission UK in North America, though. I got the UK release)

I must be in a really crummy mood lately.

LP:
-Depeche Mode - "Violator" (I already have the CD, but....VINYL!)
-Bow Wow Wow - "When The Going Gets Tough, The Tough Get Going"

CD:
-The Cramps - "Big Beat From Badsville"

And while they aren't CDs, I did get some iron-on patches. Cradle Of Filth, The Misfits, and Social Distortion.

The Magnetic Fields-"69 love songs box set"

I HIGHLY reccomend either one of these. At least get one of the Magnetic Field's CDs.
