I just got back from seeing the new Rambo flick, and i must say it was indeed good. I particularly loved how the camera was used in fast moving action scenes, with a sort of effect that causes a strobe-light type of effect. ..well, maybe not strobe light..but its looks like when shooting some of the action scenes, some of the frames were omitted, which causes objects/people, etc to move incredibly faster than normal.
i may not be very good at explaining it, but if youve seen the movie you know what im talking about.
i suppose Schwarzenegger started the recent trend of action stars reprising their famed roles long past their prime with Terminator 3.
The new Rambo and Rocky movies soon followed suit
..and this summer the new Indy movie will also be added into the mix.
now if Peter Weller could only reprise his role as Robocop.
