The Japor Snippet (that silly necklace that Padme is wearing in the beginning of the movie and in the funeral procession) that Anakin examines around Padme's neck... was that in Episode I?

I'm seeing some stuff online that indicates that it was in TPM but I just don't remember it. Does anyone know for sure?

Please don't make me watch TPM again to find out for sure. crying.gif

The Ebay scene.

Well, I haven't seen it recently, but I would guess that it was in that final scene. It was quite a formal occasion,as is a funeral. But I am just guessing.

anakin gives padme the necklace aboard the queen's ship, when leaving tattooine headed for coruscant.

the scene is something like this:
"i made this for you, i carved it out of jappor snippet, it will bring you good luck."
"i dont need this to remember you by. many things will change once we reach the capitol, but my caring for you will remain."
Officer! officer! quick! all my money was stolen by a man in flannel!

that's right, Xenduck. One of our first gushy/stilted Annie/Padme scenes. If only she'd have just said "you're a funny little boy" and left it at that.

Still, Am I wrong in kind of remembering it being cross shaped? (suppressed memory, no doubt.)
