Months ago a teaser came out for War of the Worlds, and it appeared that it was going to take place in the late 1800s a la H.G.Welles...it showed Cruise and others running around from some unknown forced dressed in late 1800s clothes...speaking in retarded accents...

Now, I just saw the new preview, and its present day, a la Independance Day...

What the F@CK?

Well hopefully not, but with Spielberg you never know what he'll do. Few directors have made my throat feel as full of puke as he by demonizing the nazis and making everyone feel sorry for the Jewish people.
