Why am I always the guy who gets STUCK IN THE BEGINNING!?

What should I do after killing the guy? I can't open the door or walk outside.

It was interesting... I also thought there was something strange with all the descriptions of things not needed for the character's task. Hmm. I'll have to go back and play again.

But... the guy! In red! *waves arms* Is this who I'm thinking of? That I can't mention because not everyone bought the special edition? Is that him?

Oh yes, and it was nice to see another page of the prophecy. Always cool.

You arse. Just make me remember how much I don't have the special editions. Are they really worth the $5?

I think yes. Really, they're all excellent games and it gets all the better with the commentary. I'd even go as far as to say that they suffice to create a very personal atmosphere - if that wouldn't make me sound like a stalker. I don't get half of that experience when I go to the cinema, and I sometimes have to pay thrice the price for that.

They indeed worth the 5 bucks and as Gobbler noted, it really get better with the commentary. Particuliary 1213 SE. The prequel episode wasn't that great, but you can't go wrong with 3 episodes worth of commentary and stuff behind the scene.

Let me second what Gobbler and Blueskirt said by saying YES. VERY VERY YES. I only have the SEs of 5 Days, 7 Days and TN, (was too cheap to buy the other ones, but I sure want to) and they are some of the coolest things ever. There's so much backstory and fun stuffs that you find out! And no one else (except for Yahtzee and the other people who bought it, of course) knows! I mean, you can find out Trilby's real name! Among other things.

God, I sound like an advertisement.

Hm, I'm actually still trying to figure out if there's an alternate ending or something. There must be a reason for petrol being there. Also, the description of the fridge being taped shut "for the moment," the sounds of groaning from behind the heavy garage door, the fact that the corridor lists south as a doorway but tells you it's locked, the fact that the ending bothers to say "you completed your task," and the way that the blade is shaped like a key... There has to be something.

I tried a few things but nothing seemed to work. Maybe he thought something out of it but gave up when he realized the trouble--

The blade was shaped as a key in the last one. I think its just that the blade is shaped like a key.

I'm guessing the facility will still be there in the next text adventure or in 6DAS.

Well, now I have to get those special editions. Even if it means--and it will--beating the half with the credit card. Must have! Want!

Of course, playing these text adventures has now hooked me on Inform 7...and that "Building" game WinFrotz comes with frustrates to all hell.

Building may be too hard for beginners, mate. Donwload Bronze, by Emily Short. Or any of her games, really. These are easier puzzle-wise and she's an award winning author. You can't go wrong with her stuff.
