I thought I knew what both of those words meant, but I can't see how they would be applied to Yahtzee fans.

Well you either don't know the meaning of the two words or you don't know many Yahtzee fans. I am almost completely certain that most of them are /b/tards which means they are likely to be unwitting and niggardly.
"I felt insulted until I realized that the people trying to mock me were the same intellectual titans who claimed that people would be thrown out of skyscrapers and feudalism would be re-institutionalized if service cartels don't keep getting political favors and regulations are cut down to only a few thousand pages worth, that being able to take a walk in the park is worth driving your nation's economy into the ground, that sexual orientation is a choice that can be changed at a whim, that problems caused by having institutions can be solved by introducing more institutions or strengthening the existing ones that are causing the problems, and many more profound pearls of wisdom. I no longer feel insulted because I now feel grateful for being alive and witnessing such deep conclusions from my fellows."

I wouldn't say love, but I have been known to employ it to put idiots down from time to time, yes.

I have to agree with you, my good fellow. Want some tea and crumpets? Lorry! sweets! United Kingdom! Winchester! Slaves! Ironic abolishment of slave! Football! Rugby! More Tea!

Just to name a few. The stereotyping competition is a fierce one where only the younger nation can really win. Less things to stereotype in the end.

I meant, one of the most active countries in slavery and then the abolishment of slavery. That came from Britain, didn't it?

Yes, that is part of our history from a less enlightened time. We shipped people from Africa to work as slaves on plantations in the West Indies. We then abolished that practice in 1807. I afraid I see no inherent irony. Reversal of policy is not ironic.

And the word is 'abolition', not 'abolishment'.

I rest my case.

No, you're right. Though, I think if it has been a while since I read the word I think I can be excused.
