Okay, i dont know if Yahtzee is already making a new game in the DeFoe Saga, but should he? I mean he probably has a busy schedule and everything but I just got this addicted feeling to the Saga. Maybe a game set in the World of Magick where you play as the Arrogant Man/Old Prince???
Or a game where you play as John DeFoe? Does anyone else want more games in the DeFoe saga?

I'd be happy with any new games from him to be honest, all the ones I've played have been good.

I'd like to see him start a new series of games. Don't get me wrong, I love all of the Trilby games, but the story has pretty much come to an end. I mean, you could always do some branching stories... but those tend to not turn out so great. Storywise, that is.

EDIT: Trilby: The Art of Theft was a fun game but the story wasn't nearly as strong as any of the DeFoe games or even 1213.

Fan service games tend to be shit so STFU everyone.
"I felt insulted until I realized that the people trying to mock me were the same intellectual titans who claimed that people would be thrown out of skyscrapers and feudalism would be re-institutionalized if service cartels don't keep getting political favors and regulations are cut down to only a few thousand pages worth, that being able to take a walk in the park is worth driving your nation's economy into the ground, that sexual orientation is a choice that can be changed at a whim, that problems caused by having institutions can be solved by introducing more institutions or strengthening the existing ones that are causing the problems, and many more profound pearls of wisdom. I no longer feel insulted because I now feel grateful for being alive and witnessing such deep conclusions from my fellows."

No. 6 Days wrapped it up; it's over. If you want something else, go write Trilby fanfiction or something. There was a livejournal community for it I think somewhere. Just don't post it here because we don't care.

Also, if he were to make another game, (which I doubt he would,) I'd think he'd go with that sequel to GFW he's mentioned. But I'm not Yahtzee so I don't know. He'd probably rather make Zero Punctuation because he gets money for that.

Actually, I'd like Yahtzee to make another, but completely unrelated horror game . . . perhaps without any, (obviously), supernatural element whatsoever.
I thought 5DAS was by far the best and everything after that was kinda half-arsed.

At the same time, Yahtzee's probably a different person than he was when he made the 5DAS, and any project he would dream of making currently would probably be better than trying to recreate the experience of 5DAS.

Also, I don't think the Czho story is ended . . . AOT was made afterwards, afterall. But in terms of horror, it's dead, and that was it's main attraction for me. Trilby as his own character is still very much alive.

I do agree about more horror, definitely. More 6 Days stalker type oh-shit-he's-right-around-the-corner kind of stuff, because that scared the hell out of me.
And yeah, don't necessarily need the paranormal. Could be more sci-fi.

I had heard a rumor from somewhere that Yahtzee was now working for an actual game company but was sworn to secrecy on projects and the like. It's just a rumor though.

Stop beating the Chzo series to death already. They are good games, but any more and we'll start seeing "Jason vs. DeFoe" schlock.

No more DeFoe sequel, the story has been told already.

Arien: He indeed talked about GFW2, but that was long ago, before Zero Punctuation threw a wrench in his indie game making career, whatever plans he had before ZP have probably been thrown to the trash can by now.

Josh: It wasn't a rumor, he said it in some interview. I forgot which one.

I agree that Defoe is done. I kind of like the hanging threads at the end... It leaves the universe open while not demanding more.

If I had money to play Yahtzee off to make a new game, I'd request more Trilby during his STP days. But seeing that I don't, I'll take whatever he throws us out to us for free.

Shows how much I know about anything. Which is to say, nothing.

No, the Chzo story is ended. AOT happened before the Chzo story began. As far as it goes, there could be more of Tribly's adventures of him frolicking about in the money of others, but the Chzo story is definitely over.

I hold AOT as part of the Chzo mythos because of Chzo's 4th dimensional vision and effect.

Afterall, he guided everything, including the future, to convene for 6DAS, so who's to say he didn't cause that whole AOT thing? As far as I'm concerned, because Trilby became so involved with Chzo's plans, anything Trilby did or experienced, (that guided his path in life), is arguably something that Chzo caused. With this whole 4 dimensional wha-giz-mo, why couldn't Chzo have effected himself to create/guide Trilby after becoming interesting in him?

I prefer not to think of Chzo as having anything to do with it, simply because I don't like the idea of some deity controlling everything behind the scenes.
Although wasn't there some reference to some cult or something right near the end of the game? I can't remember, I haven't played it in months.
