Man im new to the site and i just downloaded all 3 episodes the other night and was up till 4 in the moring playing them, man that was one of the best story lines i have ever seen in a freeware game. The ending was incredible, but i have to admit i almost shed a tear for old 1213, and then i played through the alt ending. hehe

Yahtzee's games are the best, I love his style in his videogames, when serious, serious, when funny, hellova funny.
I just finished 1213, and I'm amazed with the effort and creativity inside that minimum game file, same with the X Day trilogy. Don't stop creating this jewels of gaming!
(Even if I just came here to read the "Stairs" review, man, I love the pervert who recommended me this site)

1213 is not a game to be enjoyed for the gameplay - it distinctly lacks this. The collision detection is awful, but so is trying to jump up to a ledge - there simply isn't enough feedback to figure out when you are close enough to jump and make it. The shooting seemed incredibly random - you hold down Tab for several seconds, and hope like hell that he dies before you.
Still, the mystery behind you and your existence is incredbly compelling, and the final ending is one gigantic mindfuck which makes you shed a tear for the sheer hopelessness of the situation - no thanks to you and your security guard/turret murdering spree.
Also, to the person who mentioned Cave Story - that game is a much better platformer and a marginally better storyteller than this one. I simultaneously want to and loathe finishing the best ending - fuck you Ballos!

I'm stuck on Episode 2 :/ which no one seems to be stuck on.
I took the circuit board (or whatever that thing is) out of the machine and I've gonr through the maintenance room and have gotten the elevator key. I've tried both objects on everything I could think of. I'm hardcore stuck

You need to fix the elevator control stuff with the circuit board, which is in the far right room of the floor you're stuck in, if memory serves right.

Oh, Okay. I see what happend. I couldn't find the code to open that door. It appears it's just in a computer I've read at least 3 times.

Im stuck on Episode 2... Im at the food court, where it blacks out, and i get to the point where everything black out but the little corner, then I try going everywhere, but nothing happens, so i go to the entrance, and i cant back through, so then i run, and I fall off, and the Food Court becomes visible again, but all red and fuzzy, and im not there... What do I do?!?!
