The saddest part is how decieving all of the trailers and film posters of the TPM were. I remember seeing one of Jake Loyd walking the desolote Tattoine dessert and going "this movie is going to dominate!" I feel bad for the kid, I mean Lucas really screwed up the script and story line. Its not the little angel faced bastards fault. wub.gif
It seems like everyone is over the nitpicking. Too bad.

Something that goes to the tune of:

Old guy from ROTJ because he's dead and pissed, not a good combination.

James Earl Jones (if just contemplating the living) because he could say something in a deep tone that would scare the sh*t out of hayden and Lloyd like "have you fellows found gainful work after your respective encounters with Massa George Lucas? No?" Helps if you imagine him saying it in the Vader voice. Maybe he'd be on David Prowse's back like the Master/Blaster villian in Mad max Beyond Thunderdome. If not, Prowse takes them all because of his rage at Jones' voice subbing from ANH on, Sebastian Shaw's subbing for him under the mask in ROTJ, and Hayden subbing for him in the brief ROTS scene (even Peter Mathew got work after a decade and a half or so....

I could imagine Hayden and Lloyd duscussing their experiences and non-direction by Lucas, how hot and distant at the same time natalie Portman is/was, and how its cool to have your own action figure likeness, then one asks the other (doesn't matter which one) if he'd like to go back to his trailer and watch a bootleg copy of "Brokeback Mountain" and the other smiles as they eagerly run off......

But that's just my opinion.....

I actually feel sorry for Jake. I can remember him posting on other website something to the effect of: "Here I am, the guy you hate the most in the world!"

Poor guy. It's not his fault that Lucas couldn't pull proper prequels out of his ass....
Flying Ferret

Battle for the Galaxy--read the "other Star Wars"

All I know is I haven't seen the real prequels yet.

and he still signing stuff from his 15 minutes of glory back in 99

Isnt it kinda rude to be listening to your ipod while signing your fans autographs.

That poor kid really does look miserable though - now I just feel really bad for him.

^ I thought the same thing - it does seem a bit anti-social.

In other thoughts, boy he hasn't aged very well...

It says on the IMDB that Jake beat out that one guy from Malcom in the Middle for this part.
Annie VS. That one guy...
"The problem is, you're not a kangaroo... that's a bear... and he's in your pants."
"Maybe artists shouldn't talk about their art."
"Well kids, I guess your father isn't a hermaphrodite."
"Izzy! enough with the rabid smootching!!"

I always thought that Leonardo Dicaprio would have made a better older Annie. He's just so darn creepy. But if we're going for creepy-ness-ness, then Dakota Fanning should have played young annie.

seems i remember hearing something about leo possibly playing older stalker anakin... but that was way back when - when TPM was still in theaters.

I still dont think he could have made his lines work - you cant act your way out of a crappy script
