QUOTE (floppydisk @ Oct 30 2005, 08:33 PM)
Pfft... we're wimps. We need guns to kill stuff. Recently added onto my "List of things to do before I die" is kill a large predator with only a sword and/or bow and/or lance. This comes after being in a riot, but before skydiving...

i think killing a large predator thus armed falls into the "list of things to do RIGHT before i die"

So I take it you don't want to go skydiving?

On my list of things to do before I die is figure out how to survive as a hunter-gatherer, but since I imagine I'd be very, very, bad at the hunter part, I'd better find another source of protein.

Well, as long as you say that you are actually also doing it for the money I will accept that. Seriously, I once went to the vet's and got charged almost thirty dollars for the vet to say what was wrong with my dog and schedule an appointment to get the problem taken care of. The time it all took was less than five minutes (I had time it).
Apparently writing about JM here is his secret weakness. Muwahaha!!!! Now I have leverage over him and am another step closer towards my goal of world domination.

"And the Evil that was vanquished shall rise anew. Wrapped in the guise of man shall he walk amongst the innocent and Terror shall consume they that dwell upon the Earth. The skies will rain fire. The seas shall become as blood. The righteous shall fall before the wicked! And all creation shall tremble before the burning standards of Hell!" - Mephisto

Kurgan X showed me this web comic done with Legos. It pokes fun at all six Star Wars films and I found it to be extremely entertaining.

Floppy. You're a wimp for using any weapon to kill then. Sneak up behind that deer, leap on it, and tear its neck open with your throat. Or don't call people wimps like it's a bad thing. tongue.gif

I didn't make my point well enough. I meant that they're wimps since they never actually are in danger the whole time they're hunting. They shoot it from 1000 feet, stuff it and make it look ferocious. I could get killed attacking a grizzly bear with a sword.
